ABOUT ME

I grew up in the U.S., just outside of New York City. At the moment I've come to Iran (that's where my dad was born and raised) to try and see what this country means to me. I love to meet new people and see new places, but these days I'm more concerned with meeting myself, or I suppose finding myself.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While I was living in Spain and had a nice big house of my own I, along with my housemates, hosted a lot of surfers. We had a great time. I like couch surfing especially for the opportunity to meet new people in different parts of the world, but also it's cool to crash on a couch somewhere!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted much more than I've surfed but maybe this year I'll get my wetsuit on and start surfing some more.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I love all different types of music, there usually isn't any music that I don't like. Movies I'm a bit more particular. I just love good stories and good acting. I like the grandeur of older movies but I also love some of the newest stuff that's out there.

Books: I like different styles of writing, it changes periodically. Lately I've been reading a lot of long form journalism. I like the stories, things that have a beginning and end.
Some of the Writers I enjoy are: Marquez, Camus, Hemingway, Dostoyevsky, Voltaire, Saramago, Twain...

Just in thinking they don't have a place here for paintings or painters. Just books, music and movies. But I love paintings too. I love the expressionists and abstract expressionists. I love the classic masters and masterpieces. I like seeing a painting that I've studied in a book in real life for the first time.
