ABOUT ME

I am a student right now, and I will continue to be a student for the rest of my life. I intend to learn as much as I can for however long I can. I love traveling, but would definitely like to get to more international destinations. I like outdoor activities, but I also enjoy spending time talking. Everything about other places interests me.

Unfortunately, I don't have a couch of my own to share. (Not yet, at least). But I would love to meet anyone who is traveling through Kentucky, and I can try my best to show you why I like it here. Let's grab a drink!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My favorite trips have been with people that I didn't know too well. Spending time going to a place with someone who was just an acquaintance is a great way to develop a friendship. I have some great friends who live all over the world!

Interests

I like theology, books, mountain bikes, hiking, backpacking, camping, Greek, Hebrew, dead authors, history, my family, writing, long-boarding, trivia, and competitive sports.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have somewhat eccentric tastes in music, books, and movies. I like Reformed hymns, and a substantial amount of 80's music. I tend to like Westerns (especially 'spaghetti westerns') and action movies. My favorite books are all written by dead guys (non-fiction).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen a meteor shower while I was camping above 12,500 feet in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. I have hiked the Grand Canyon from the rim to the river and back. I have been to Hawaii, and I have swam in the Atlantic and Pacific oceans.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share all sorts of interesting tidbits about certain historical topics. I have a fascination with religion. I could inform you about the inner workings of the accounting system that is used in the United States. I would especially like to learn about how other cultures cook and eat!
