We are an Aussie - Swedish (Elin & Nick) couple who met in Portugal soon 4 years ago (after Elin finished her adventurous cycling trip from Stockholm - Lisbon with her friend.) We have many stories to share and would love to hear yours.

CS is a great initiative and a great way to connect people, get inspired and make friends all over the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This spring I made my first couchsurfing experiences when biking across Europe in a manifestation to make European cities more bike-friendly.
Read more at http://www.cykeleffekten.se Meeting with couchsurfers was absolutely one of the absolute highlights of the trip. Very grateful for those meetings. Might sound cheezy but couchsurfing just makes you believe in humanity.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Elin has cycled with a friend from Stockholm, Sweden, to Lisbon, Portugal (4500 km) on a bicycle, to promote urban cycling and sustainable mobility.

Teach, Learn, Share

Elin: has a degree in health promotion and so obviously knows a lot about health. She also has great photography skills, and could of course try to teach you some Swedish.
Nick: Is very handy and crafty, good with wood work and fixing small and big things in the house. Has an interest in simple living, and growing your own food in a sustainable way.
