About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to make the world a better place to live on

ABOUT ME

I think, I'm an open mind person, but a little crazy :P , mobile, vagrant and spontaneous as well as pragmatic. I like nature and natural gardens (what a balance!), cycling, walking, several outdoor-sports, writing, traveling, discovering new landscaps and cities, good music, ingenious conversation with friendly persons from all over the world - and dark chocolate, also in good icecream. :D

Moving is my elixir!
Bewegung ist mein Lebenselixier.

And I hate lies, artificial perfume and smoking.

I am vegetarian and eat a lot of fruits

And I'm often on the road - by bike ;)

PHILOSOPHY

"Behind the horizon there is extending a new one! Discover it!"
"Hinter jedem Horizont erstreckt sich ein neuer. Entdecke ihn!" Astrid Johann

"For all problems there are yet the solutions."
Für jedes Problem gibt es bereits eine Lösung.

"If you really want, you can do and achieve it."
"Alles, was du wirklich willst, kannst du auch tun und erreichen." - sagt mein Mt. Ventoux-Messer, das ich mir auf dem provenzalischen Giganten kaufte, als ich das erste Mal dort oben mit dem Fahrrad samt Gepäck hin geradelt war.

I am an optimist because pessimism is wasting time! (Based on a citation of Schimon Peres: "Pessimismus ist Zeitverschwendung.")

Live and enjoy the life, as if you would die tomorrow, but take responsibility for your doing, the planet and the living as if you would ever live.
"Lebe und genieße das Leben, als ob du morgen sterben würdest, doch übernimm Verantwortung für dein Tun, dein Lassen, den Planeten und das Leben, als würdest du ewig leben."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can offer my knowledge about the landscape, the world, the country, the plants. I know cycling-places / -paths and all about you have to know and what is necessary for cyclists. Perhaps I have a bed / couch for one or more nights.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

not directly what concerns CouchSurfing. But many persons from the half world were in my home, when I was at school, they lived here for some days, weeks or month. We ever had an open house for all nationalities.

And I was often on the road with my bike and met a lot of persons, who offered me spontaneously a bed or a place for my tent. Or friends, I met only in the internet, invited me to come and sleep, not seldom for some days, a week or more.

Interests

- cycling, walking, nature, traveling
- other religions and cultures, the psyche of human life.
- all about life and this planet
- renewable energies
- the landscape, the region or city where I live
- the persons of this region and the places of interest

Soon I want to cycle along the Iron Curtain Trail (the former Iron Curtain) in Europe. And I need a lot of places to sleep or where I can put my tent.

Also I would like to cycle to and through Africa in some years to see the nature, to visit projects concerning nature, environment, bicycle, renevable energy, social and medical application. And I need a lot of places where I can sleep and find projects. About this journey a will publish.
