CURRENT MISSION

I got married about a year and a half ago and am on a mission to show my kids the immediate world around them; in their city and the cities nearby.

ABOUT ME

I lived in Chattanooga for 28 years before moving to Ringgold (20 min away) after I got married, so the kids could stay in the Georgia school system. Currently I'm helping build a rad mountain bike trail, while trying to keep up with my 3 kids and support my beautiful wife!

PHILOSOPHY

Adventure is right outside your backdoor, and most ppl don't even know the plethora of activities and fun stuff in their immediate area. I love to showcase my city and all the adventures to be had in it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I grew up in a hosting home, my parents always had people over, granted they were missionaries from their church, but it fostered a need to host. My philosophy is this: "I don't have much to share, but I share what I've got and I'm rewarded with great friends and great adventures with new friends."

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been all over the eastern seaboard, to France, Monaco, and England, Puerto Rico, and as far out west as Arizona, slept on every surface known to man...

Interests

I'm an extreme sports kind of guy, I've got tons of scars, and my joints feel like a 40 year old. I love the adrenaline though, I live for it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was a full time (M)anny for a year and a half, and it was a HELLUVA learning experience!! I've gotten to see my kids grow up and graduate HS and now they're onto the next chapter of their lives and I'm a part of it. I'm so proud!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My wife and I are great cooks, we cook for the kids and enjoying just winging it with a crock pot. We are clean and keep our space tidy, and clean up after ourselves like all adults should. We have both lived a great life apart for most of it, but the last three has been incredible as well, and we are both blessed to be together.
