Sobre mí

Hello!
My name is Bilal, I'm 44 years old and I grew up in a small village (400 habitants) called Hadda which is 22km outside of Jaisalmer in the desert. If you are interested getting to know authentic way of living in a desert village in Rajasthan, my home is the best place to do that. Of course I will pick you up in Jaisalmer town and then take you to my place. I live in Hadda with my wife and my six children. My whatsapp number is +919571952123 for everything you need. As a young boy I began leading camel safaris through the desert. Now I am building my own safari business and hotel.

You are welcome to stay at my place with NO HASSLES OR PRESSURE! I will not try to sell you a camel safari but if you want I can arrange it for you. I am looking for a cultural exchange and meet new people. I have a special room where you can stay so you have your privacy when needed (as you can see on one of the pictures).

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I want to show people how Indian people live in really small villages outside of the cities. I like connecting from people all around the world. Foreigners have taught me many things over the years and I like exchanging ideas about life. Of course, if you want to go on a camel safari I can also help you.

Intereses

Music, hanging out with my friends, enjoying life, sharing my knowledge of the desert and Jaisalmer. I also love cooking and yoga.

  • tree planting

Música, películas y libros

My favourite music is Rajasthani music and hindi songs

Algo increíble que he hecho

For me, the most amazing thing is being exposed to the global world. I grew up very traditionally in a village and now I have friends from many, many countries. I could have never imagined such a life when I was a boy.

One big highlight of my life was trekking. Wow. So different from the desert.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

If you are interested in, you are very welcome to teach my children and the children from the village some English, because many of them don't go to school.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I can share my knowledge of the Thar
