Hi there ! I'm Bilal, from France, 26 years old and still rocking :) A random but funny guy who's going to land in your couch and share some discussions with you and give you some laughs ! Or just meet around in your/my city ;)

I live in Lyon, which is a wonderful city to visit and to live in. I've been in this city since my 15ish year, and I've been in love with this city ever since.

I've also spent a year in Stuttgart, Germany. Great city, not as beautiful as Lyon ;) but I've met some wonderful people there, and I keep fond memories of my Erasmus !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After my year in Erasmus, in which I've travelled in Germany, Netherlands, Turkey, ... I wanted to continue this experience, dicover new places, and meet new people and make new friends from our small world village !

Next target : Portugal ! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music : Very ecclectic. Depending on the current mood mainly. Can vary from soft chilly jazz/lounge music, groovy electro-swing, trance. Or something more dymanic, like old school rap/hip-hop, to hard-rock/electro-rock/metal !

Movies : I like movies with some complexity, message-bearing one, plot twists, action, creative graphics, ... Some examples : Inception, Matrix, The Little Prince, Kubo, The Intouchables, Leon, The Wolf of Wall Street, Now You See Me ... etc ...

Books : not so much of a book reader actually ! But I do like reading about architecture, history, success, psychology, comics, ... Some titles : Orwell, Asimov, 1984, Animal Farm, Da Vinci Code, Good to Great, L'Etranger, ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not very crazy, but still :

Going to live in Germany without knowing German.
Learning architecture as an engineer.
Waking up at 6:30 AM for a month to run in the harsh cold.
Doing a week trip with a friend without landing in any place.
Going to high sensation rides/jumps, although I have vertigo !
