ABOUT ME

Gerda and me are joyful and active couple from small country in Europe - Lithuania. We know each other since 2008, but it seems like we where together our whole lives. Both of us do not like to do nothing, so we are spending all of our free time actively, no matter what season or weather is outside. Because of that we discovered a lot of activities for ourselves, such as travelling, trekking, climbing, mountaineering, cycling, kayaking, snowboarding and others. All these activities become our hobbies and our way of life.

But somehow we felt that our journeys are too short and that we would like to see and feel more of the World. So, last year we decided to leave the ordinary world behind and make a trip of our lives – Round The World trip. We started it in May of 2012. The principles of our journey are to move slow and see more. We are moving by hitchhiking, we live in a tent or using host by CouchSurfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although we just started to use the CouchSurfing, the doors of our home where always open to all the travelers and strangers and we did often use the hospitality of other people in the past.

Music, Movies, and Books

Depending on mood from clasic to heavy metal. Mostly instrumental. Pink Floyd is my favourite.

I like movies, but my favourites are "Seven Pounds", "7 Years in Tibet", "Pursuit of Happiness", "The Untouchables", "Forest Gump" and similar.

Favourite books: "Encyclopedia of Geography" and "World Atlas".

Teach, Learn, Share

We could teach mountainering, climbing and kayaking basics. Else: photography, some magic trics, playing guitar.
