Overview
About Me
I am a 28 year old guy. Who loves traveling, listening a lot of music, and meeting new people (: I was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey but I used to live in Ankara and studied at Middle East Technical University prior to my moving to USA. Currently, I am a [Materials Science & Engineering] PhD student at Drexel University and live in Philadelphia, PA. I have been to many countries including Europe (Lived in Braunschweig, Germany over a year as an exchange student) and North America (I also lived in Berkeley California over a year as an exchange student). I used to be a member of the exchange organization AFS and a member of the Rotaract Club, which I am not able to contribute at the moment due to busyness. I love to meet new people and chat about all topics. I read a lot so i have usually a good sense of common culture, politics, history, science etc.. I am looking forward for your positive responses!! :)
PHILOSOPHY
Legal-illegal-Scheissegal
Space and Freedom for all.. ;)
For Guests:
I have a one bedroom apartment located in a safe part of Philadelphia known as the University City, Penn Campus Area. I have an expandable couch in my living room that can host 2 people side to side. I think it is a good place to stay for traveling couples or good friends that do not mind sleeping in the same bed. (Or of course single travelers, which I would prefer the most for convenience and space) During week days, I work usually till 5-6 pm and afterward I am free to hang out. Please write me before hand so that I can respond timely. -Looking forward to meeting you all! :)

Teach, Learn, Share
In addition to my PhD program, I am also pursuing a masters degree in "Education of STEM fields for Undergraduates". I am very new to pedagogy and philosophy of teaching. Nonetheless, I am still very open to sharing ideas and learning more on evidence-based learning/teaching approaches.
