About Me

I am really passionate about travelling! "I haven’t been everywhere, but it’s on my list.” – Susan Sontag my favourite quote of all time. I used couchsurfing when I was backpacking through USA and gained amazing memories from it. Now I live in Germany for a while :) You can pretty much have a conversation with me about anything. I really enjoy reading and discussing about politics, religions, experiences, universe, life and cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because the stereotypical way of travelling, like going to a place, staying in a hotel/hostel and going to some touristic destinations, taking some pictures of the monuments and going home is not for me. When I go a city that I've never been before, I would like to experience the way that locals live in that city and learn about their lives, their routines, the places that they hang out, their concerns and dreams while living in that city. That's what interests me. I cannot say that I travelled to a city if I did not see or explore somewhere which is not on a "city guide".

Music, Movies, and Books

I love oldschool rock and roll, mostly 60's and 70's. The doors is my favourite band. I love reading charles bukowski, slyvia plath and chuck palahniuk.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably packing my stuff and coming to the united states for the summer, and working in 2 different jobs in order to gather the money for travelling!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some Turkish dishes, cooking and sayings. I can even try reading your fortune from traditional Turkish coffee!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share them my beautiful Turkish culture and my dreams and thoughts about the world :)
