Overview
About Me
My name is Vassilios but I mostly go by (Bill/Billy)I am usually a slow traveler, because i feel like i need to get a grasp of the day to day life of the place i'm traveling or visiting. Though this usually depends on visa constraints, plus time, and budgets, which sucks but 'meh what ya gunna do' but otherwise, i like diving into new things and will always take on challenges head on, even when afraid, which MOST of the time has worked out pretty well for me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Figure it's a great way to meet new people and locals and see things from their perspective, while still exploring the best of what countries have to offer. Budget accommodation is usually always secondary to me, I will always have somewhere lined up to stay beforehand, so no worries if you’d decide not to host me. But Im almost always up for hanging out. I plan my trips so I can have some freedom so my schedule can be up in the air or flexible.

Music, Movies, and Books
All kinds of music, now when i say that, i'm not doing some lame avoiding the question tactic, to save anyone's feelings. i really do like all kinds of music, from folk to metal and trap to rap with everything in between, if you think I haven't heard it feel free to share it, I may just like what you got, I also like to collect rock/punk bands from each new place I visit.
Same goes for movies (except horror). Its not that i cant stomach or handle it, there’s enough gore already out there. But there’s always room for suspense and thrillers and psychological dramas. Plus I always up for recommendations if you have any.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
to sum up one amazing thing I've done is a hard thing to do, but my most recent adventure, was motorbiking the entirety of Vietnam from Saigon to Hanoi, and then the northern loop. I consider it a personal triumph, seeing how i almost died several times times on those roads, and made it out in mostly one piece. but the real triumph of the trip is the people I've met and places i saw, and food is always a HUGE plus, but difficulty starts to become a driving factor.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well as far as teaching goes I could help anyone practice their English, or Greek for that matter. I’m also quite the long term traveler, so I’ve got tons of tips and tricks to help others travel better, anything from laundry to cheap flights, and avoiding nasties like bedbugs or mosquitoes. My knowledge is yours for the asking.
As for learning, every day, every place, and every person has something to teach us, it's all about being open to new experiences, and as cliched as that may sound, it still holds true. No matter how small or insignificant you think something might be (like a tip, trick, manners, sightseeing, food), please feel free to share it with me!! You never know It could help thousands of people!
SHARING, well id gladly meet any host or traveler with a beer and story, all you need to do is ask, and no topic is off limits politics, religion, heck even shitty stories about food poisoning. I also don’t mind playing devils advocate, even on topics we may agree on
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like to bring a small thank you gift usually food or drink for my hosts. And I only know one magic trick which is kinda
interesting/lame, but it’s a great ice breaker at parties, I’ve been told I tell great travel stories though that’s up for debate lol.
