Overview
About Me
I am a recent graduate from the University of Washington in Seattle. I am an entrepreneur at heart and love meeting people that have exciting new ideas! Especially if you are a life scientist or associated analyst/investor, I would love to buy you a beverage of your choice and hear about your work.
When I travel, I strive to achieve the perfect balance between meeting interesting new people, respectfully experiencing local culture, visiting the most beautiful natural wonders, and discovering the most thrilling adventure sports.
I have always had a love of sports and would be happy to play your favorite. My favorites are soccer (football), basketball, and beach volleyball. I am an avid sailor and feel most at home when I am out on the water. I also love hiking, biking, and swimming, and recently completed my first triathlon with my sister in July. I also started practicing Aikido 2 years ago and would love to train or learn a new martial art.
In my spare time, I love learning new skills. I am a very amateur guitar player and can play one Adele song on piano (bonus points if you can guess which). I am a total cardshark. Favorite games are Canasta, cribbage, and blackjack (would be happy to teach anyone the basics of card counting). Teach me your best card trick!

Music, Movies, and Books
I am one of the biggest Game of Thrones fans that you will ever meet.
I absolutely love exchanging book recommendations. I read a lot of non-fiction, especially books on entrepreneurship, business, and psychology. One of my favorite things to do is share a book recommendation and then go hiking and see where the conversation takes you.
Every year, I watch all the movies nominated for best motion picture and vote for my favorites during the Academy Awards.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of my favorite things to do is to take things that are old, broken, and no longer desired, and find a way to put them back together in a way that is meaningful to me.
For one of my projects, I created a $67 bioprinter out of 3D printed parts, recycled wood, and electronics scrapped from a broken old office printer. Bioprinting is an awesome technology used to 3D "print" human cells and other biomaterials to produce functional human tissues!
Teach, Learn, Share
