About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Laugh a lot, meet inspiring, kind people, and learn learn learn

ABOUT ME

Easy going and friendly. I live life spontaneously and try to find amusement in any situation. I enjoy keeping in touch with old friends and connecting with new people.

I am an adventure seeker. I love spending time outdoors and I like to take care of this big beautiful planet that we live on. I'm often outside biking, running, swimming, hiking etc. I hope to find a career concoction that will mix environmental conservation with travel.

PHILOSOPHY

Be kind to everyone.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The worldwide CS community is full of good people.

Interests

I love to camp and hike whenever I can find the time. I also enjoy cooking and discovering new food, biking, trail running, swimming, sitting by a campfire, photography, sustainability, the ocean, playing the guitar and drums, watching live music or comedy, traveling through the countryside or through the mountains, mindfulness meditation, and practicing Spanish.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all music. Reggae, rock, classical, salsa.. You name it. I like to play music as well. Currently learning guitar and drums.

I enjoy reading books of all kinds. Vagabonding, The Alchemist, and A Documentary History of Latin America and the US, are some recent ones.

I also like movies of all kinds and documentaries in particular. Searching for Sugar Man is one of my favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living LIFE!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am an ESL teacher so I can help you learn English. I can teach you how to open a banana the 'cool' way, I can show you how to crack a joint in your hand often overlooked, and I can teach you about some of the crazy diets I have tried.

I want to learn more about these things: Solar power and renewable energies, permaculture, sustainable development, natural medicine, Latin American history, and Spanish.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good conversation

I try to be as respectful as possible to all hosts. I love the idea of sharing living space with travelers. The generous hospitality I have received through CS and in the world at large has totally reshaped the way I view the world.
