ABOUT ME

I make my living through mycology and horticulture. I always have experiments going that result in a surplus of mushrooms and veggies...I enjoy giving them away. I try to spend as much time in the mountains as possible...hiking, photographing wild flowers, swimming in alpine lakes, and x country skiing. I have a kayak that I use a lot and a canoe that is neglected (needs at least two people) I love visiting other cultures and have done a fair amount of traveling... I look forward to doing more. I play guitar and sing...I have a small guitar that I take traveling...I found it to be a great way to communicate with people from other cultures. A healthy lifestyle is important to me...I eat mostly fresh unprocessed foods, practice yoga, ride my bike in the summer and work out at the gym in the winter.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

When I was in my teens, after a long hike, I looked out over a place called Enchanted Valley. In that moment I got, on a deep level, why people would go to so much effort to get to a place like this.
