Music, Movies, and Books
The short five. Movies: Martin Scorsese, Jean Pierre Jeunet, Takashi Miike, Alfonso Cuaron, Howard Hawks; Music: 50's blues, 60's soul, 70's punk, 80's post-punk, 00's garage; Books: generally I enjoy sharp prose, right now I am reading Pablo Neruda's Fin de Mundo.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I drove through the Rocky Mountains, through the red plains of Utah, through glistening Arizonan rock formations, through shiny Las Vegas, across Death Valley and into the pin-hair turns of Yosemite in less than 24 hours; at dawn, on the cliffs of Yosemite, an enormous bull elk stood and stared at me.
