ABOUT ME

Hello Hello! My name is William. I'm an eternal optimist with a profound sense of adventure. I love all world languages including the language of music. I am happiest when communicating with others, especially when it's with spoken words or with played music !

I find cultural enrichment, friendship, and travel to be of great importantce to the happiness of my being. I love meeting new people, striking up conversations, and making new friends. I'm easy going (Taurus) and try to find common ideals with everyone I meet. I've found that a peaceful and positive state of mind is essential for prosperous living. I'm an active individual, but am also an expert at lounging around ;-)

I enjoy listening to music, meditative/alternative studies, and all things creative. Basically, I am a fan of anything related to music! I also love to travel and to see places that I've never been to before. I would love to live abroad :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've experienced great things while surfing the couches of wonderful people from all across Europe in 2010. I met so many interesting and lovely people from Germany, France, and Spain. I've hosted friends from Germany, and I've also couchsurfed around Michigan, Canada and made some great friends all along the way :P !

I also enjoy going to group meetings/events. It's a great way to meet cool people and make friends.
~~ I went to a great concert in Barcelona summer '10. It was during the Festival de Gracia. I met about 20 other couchsurfers from all over the world! ...and we danced all night looooong!!!!! Magical. ~~

Interests

My life's passion follows a path of creative inspiration and learning. I find all forms of communication, music, and creation to be the most joyful activities in my life. I love sharing stories, having a good laugh, fotografieren, scuba, exploring nature, and living life to the fullest. I hope to become more familiar with every aspect of this world, including its languages, terrain, culture, FOOD(gerne), and music. I like to read/write poetry, songs, and stories. I enjoy listening to/making music. I often find myself experimenting with anything musical that I can get my hands on.. Nylon String Guitar, Piano, Harmonica, Djembe(love drum circles), Ocarina, Castañuelas and various hand-held percussion instruments. Also, I love to singl :) I have found speaking and learning languages to come naturally. I find it enjoyable and to be of great importance to mankind. I teach English as a second language. I love education and being in the classroom. I'm currently perfecting my german grammar. I'm also busy enhancing my spanish speaking skills. I would love to take Japanese classes! Ich reise gern...! natürlich :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy many musical artists from around the world. I enjoy listening to all different genres of music from many different cultures and lands... ...Sometimes a friend will introduce me to a sound/band that i've never heard before... I find that BRILLIANT!
