If you need to test your video you can add this Skype ID to your contacts and place a video call.

The testing site will echo the video you send (if you are sending any) back to you. It also sends you a video stream from a web cam I have pointing at the street below me.

The service is free. The test site is not approved by Skype; nor do I work for Skype.

The site is a great place not only to see if your video is working, but to see how you "look". You can tweak your camera position your lighting and even your eye shadow. :) :)
