About Me

I am lucky enough to currently be travelling around Australia with my best friend most likely until the end of 2017. I absolutely love Asia, but when i went unfortunately went in monsoon season (lol) so decided to swap my trip round and come to Oz first, I'm planning on spending as much time there when i make my way home!

I'm am open minded and pretty laid back person, I always try and put myself in somebody else shoes to hear both sides of the story. My family have all been big travelers so I guess it's in my blood, but for as long as i can remember it's been my plan to see as must of the world as possible.

I'm a big food lover and it's pretty much what I base my day around; breakfast/lunch/dinner. At home I have piles of printed recipes that I would cook up in my evenings after work. I think what I like about it the most is it's ability to bring people together, even if it is just over a coffee.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My sister told me about couchsurfing years ago, before i even left school. I've always thought it was such nerve racking thing to be apart of. But since coming travelling myself it's made me realize just how nice of a platform it is, i think it just takes that nights stay to open your eyes.

Being in hostels will always been pretty fun, but sometimes you get caught up in the more touristy kind of things, you go to backpacker bars and it can be harder to mix with the locals - i'm not knocking it but it's nice to sometimes leave the hustle and bustle of hostel life and meet people who can tell you their experiences.

Interests

I love homemade clothes, sometimes they can work out to be a bit rubbish but i'm slowly getting better.
Cooking/Eating - they go hand in hand. I love finding quirky little restaurants/bars
Meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books ; Elizabeth is missing, the shock of the fall. (i should read more!)
Films; i'm not great with horror films, they make me really nervous.
Music; It's pretty varied, i supposed i don't like a specific genre just whatever i hear that i like.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
