Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If you come stay with me i will probably leave you to do your own thing in the day, it depends
Nights we can dance, or chill, eat - make some food together in my little house or i also know some great places to eat out quite cheaply

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Now I've got my own place I've been managing to host quite a bit and I'm trying to use the site more for hosting and be more organised
I did use it last year when I was travelling in France, which was cool, and hopefully I'll see some of Italy this year

Interests

I eat mostly vegan and like making stuff with vegetables, beans, rice, fruit

At the moment I'm really into various theatre movements like the commedia dell'arte and also contemporary spoken word poetry and oral forms of narrative, particularly from platforms for trans* and queer performers

my own art and my writing are really important to me, but i always have too many projects on the go to hope of ever finishing anything..

Music, Movies, and Books

books my favourite recently was a collection of short stories by modernist author katharine mansfield

films... ...Happy Go Lucky, Frances Ha are my go-to for 'favourite' films, they make me happy. also another favourite is Caramel by Nadine Labaki. last film/s i watched were a few shorts by a great Iranian director called Anahita Ghazvinizadeh.

music- anything I can dance to! but right noww... my favourite is a singer called billie black (ofc partly because she shares my name..), Lion Babe, Frank Ocean, Kitty Pryde Seinabo Sey, lots of electro soul/r&b

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was about 11 I taught myself to ride a unicycle
moving to bologna without speaking italian has been pretty cool

I can teach you...to make papier mache masks? if i have time...how to make great banana pancakes...how to do a headstand

I'm up for learning anything but if you can skateboard i really want to learn to skateboard pls
