About Me

Former IT professional, aspiring artist, world traveler.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm working on integrating couchsurfing into my life. I've been talking on the site for some time and I've loved the idea since I learned about it. I am now trying to do as much couchsurfing as humanly possible.

So far I've been hosted in Dayton Ohio, Las Vegas, Barcelona, Paris, Marseilles, Avignon, Munich, Pforzheim, Mannheim, Frankfurt, Katowice, Washington DC, Baltimore, Detroit, Quetzaltenango, Antigua, Guatemala City, Ocotal (Nicaragua), Achuapa (Nicaragua), Cancun, Fort Lauderdale, Lexington (KY), Chicago, Minneapolis, Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, San Jose, Los Angeles, Malibu, Long Beach, Montevideo, Puerto Natales (Chile), Barranquilla (Colombia), San Francisco, Reno, Chattanooga, Atlanta, Nashville, and Charleston. I've also met couchsurfers in Zurich, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Dortmund, London, Utila, Antigua, Cancun, Merida, Fort Lauderdale, Miami Beach, Buenos Aires, Ushuaia, Bariloche, Concepción, Santiago, Oklahoma City and several other cities.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Attended Couch Crashes in Detroit (2x), Columbus (2x) (helped organize), Washington DC (2x), Madison WI, Cincinnati, San Francisco, Houston, Chicago, St Louis, and Charleston SC.

Couchsurfed through Central America, Sept 2008 - May 2009.

Couchsurfed Europe from May 8 - June 11 2008.

Couchsurfed Las Vegas in April 2008.

Couchsurfed the Dayton Ohio Invasion March 2008. Had a wonderful experience. Was planning to just stop by, but ended up spending the whole weekend. Very glad I did. My hosts were wonderful and we had a great time seeing Dayton and spreading couchsurfing joy to everyone we passed.

Eager to host. Eager to surf more. Spreading the word to everyone I meet.
