ABOUT ME

Old punk rocker who is now in his 50's. I've settled down and live in row home in south Philly with my husband and our 4 dogs, 2 turtles, as well as a snake, pet tarantula and giant centipede. I like to peruse used book stores and thrift shops. Though I'm only moderately good at it I love to cook. I can spend hours reading cook books. I enjoy just walking around the city, and hiking through the woods. I like making stuff out of clay, and silk screening. I'm a plant geek. I love to garden, and to walk in the woods with plant field guides. I'm also a Pop culture idiot. when people talk about Movie, rock or sports stars I never know who they are talking about.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When i was younger i couch surfed a lot. Had lots of good experiences doing it. I've travel all around North America. I've been to 46 of the 50 states, and been to most of eastern Mexico. I've been to a few places in eastern Canada, and London U.K.

movies: I'm watching a lot of foreign films, and lots of BBC stuff.
music: I like almost anything. I listen to a lot of outlaw country, and garage (But don't ask me to list their names)Pop culture idiot.
books: Usually trashy horror, and comic books. I also like to read lots of homesteading type of books: How to garden, how make your own (fill in the blank).I also like to read books on ecology and conservation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There is nothing more amazing then being out in nature alone, with no other obvious signs of human beings for miles. Just yourself and the wild.
