ABOUT ME

I am down for anything. I am a huge music fan and love going to concerts. I could just as gladly stay in and relax/talk/listen/dj the night away. When I am travelling I want to see all and do all. I am living in Le Havre, France right now working as an English assistant at two lycees. Prior to this I lived in Andalucia, Spain for 6 months, and before that I taught english at a university in Thailand for a year. I would really like to improve my French and Spanish.

PHILOSOPHY

I've formed an opinion here many times, and many times I've changed it. I don't know exactly, but I'm starting to have a solid foundation. Mostly, I feel the endless desire for knowledge, and when that ends, I can put something here.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This is my first time on couchsurfing!!! I would really like to see what its all about while I am in Europe!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although I have never actually used the site, I have had many couch surfing experiences. While studying in Australia, I met many of what would be my very good friends. Since that time, I cannot even remember how many Australians have come to stay with me in the U.S., including many I had never met before. Earlier this year, while in Barcelona, I met a pair of Canadians from Quebec. Later in the summer one of the guys stopped by my hometown near Philadelphia with his friends in the midst of their crosscountry roadtrip. My roomate here in France had been using this site for a little while, and I have met some fellow couch surfers in Le Havre who have already taken me under their wing even though I am not officially part of the community.

Interests

Music (anything from Bach to Beastie Boys, but mostly I love really good bands such as Arcade Fire, LCD Soundsystem, and The Grateful Dead), running, concerts, beer and wine, reading, movies, travelling obviously, Ice Hockey!! playing guitar/bass, healthy food in the morning/delicious food at night,
