Former mental health care worker traveling the world in the cheapest way possible -- by living abroad. Passion is writing and making music. Working as a highschool teacher at Satree Phuket School in Phuket, Thailand. Love the outdoors as well as a good night out in a city. Been to a number of national parks in the US and a couple in Thailand.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In between semesters I need places to stay while out and about in South East Asia. It would also be great to meet some new people who have the urge to come into Thailand.

Music - Just about everything. Hip-hop, Rock, Bluegrass, Punk, Whatever!!! (The Roots, Run the Jewels, Kendrick Lamar, LCD Soundsystem, Hiatus Kaiyote, Queens of the Stoneage, Galactic, Flor de Mariachi, Yann Tiersen) - Current favorites are always changing, but once they've been in they stay forever.

Movies - Amelie, Muholland Drive, Shut Up and Play the Hits, In Bruges, Trainspotting, and many more that I can't remember.

Books - Anything by Italo Calvino, Hopscotch (Rayuela), The Brief and Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao, Dear Life, Eunoia, Blood Meridian, and many more I can't remember.

Backpacked the Narrows in Zion National Park in early spring with a sweet pup named Aphrodite!
