Overview
About Me
Meeting new people is one of the most exciting parts of life. I have no trouble understanding other people's beliefs, religions, habits or even languages. I love sharing stories and experiences. I have a very impulsive character, but I am very reasonable in all kinds of situations. I pick up new languages very easily. For now, I aim to start exploring different continents, meeting new people there, sharing experiences, watching football matches and just living it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Aside from looking for couches to sleep on during some of my travels, I will gladly offer any travellers my couch. If you're not going to shy away from floories (I have sleeping matts, sleeping bags and a soft carpet) then I can even house up to three people. Oh, and people say my coffee is really good.
Interests
Music is one of my greater passions. I have played bass guitar in three bands so far. My taste in music varies from Britpop/rock-esque (Oasis, Frank Turner, Stone Roses) to Alternative stuff (The War On Drugs, Foals, Foo Fighters) to everything (Pop)Punk-alike (Gaslight Anthem, New Found Glory, H2O, ...) and all the way back to Rumba Catalana (La Pegatina, Bongo Botrako) and even Deep or Big Room House (The Magician, Danny Julian, Gorgon City, Crazy P)
I am a passionate football supporter for Racing Genk. On my trips I always go see a match from a team of the country I am in. They are almost always highlights in my trips. I also used to play football (also the American kind) but had to quit due to some injuries.

Music, Movies, and Books
Scott Pilgrim vs The World is the best movie of all time. But there's a lot more for sure.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Standing on the edge of the crater of Eyjafjallajökull to sitting on the main square in Rome, watching the thousands of pigeons fly in. Too much to tell, really. I hope to expand this list soon.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've been playing bass for 12 years now. I think I could teach some people a thing or two if needed.
I can also teach you some Dutch, German, English, French or Italian. I don't have a teachers degree though.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Experiences, stories, magic tricks, ... you name it!
