I have lived in 5 countries and traveled in 6 more in the last 8 years, while working as a math teacher in international schools. I fell in love with travelling because of my job. Through my experiences of getting to know people of different nationalities and living in places of different cultures, my world has expanded and I have grown to be more mindful and tolerant and patient and knowledgeable.. basically a better person. I enjoy the outdoors, I do a lot of walking around and hiking and biking and yoga, and could spend an entire day on the beach, lying on the sand while drinking beer and listening to music from reggae to classical. I love to eat, so I am always trying to lose weight. And I am not ashamed to admit that I am a coffee addict.

Couchsurfing gives me an opportunity to be flexible and adjust to people of different character and personality. It also allows me to have friends who share the same passion and experiences. It lets me be acquainted with people who could share travelling experiences with.
