Overview
About Me
Lawschoolite. Indian. Gandhian.
Just starting out to see the big world that is out there, looking forward to meet some great people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
How long can one travel alone, you need people to talk to, to understand their culture and life. That's the key point of travelling. So, yeah, I enjoy meeting people, through whom I can peek into new cultures and ideas.
Interests
As a lawschoolite reading stands at the top of my interests. Mostly restricted to non-fiction. Economic, historical, political or science books are at the top of my list. When I am not reading I am either at the field on a run or watching a movie. Once a year I go on a backpacking sabbatical.
I write on policy issues. www.lawschoolpolicyreview.com

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite music is restricted to Hindustani classical, Sufi and Western classical. My gym playlist though is filled with some rock music that I otherwise cannot take in.
Indian cinema is coming out with some great movies.
Court (Marathi) is unbeatable.
Love European cinema too: The pianist, Son of Saul, The Brand New Testament and Amelie are my fav.
But Schindlers List, 12 Angry Men and Gandhi continue to remain my evergreen love.
Books: Many.
Sapiens and Homo Deus.
Bismarck.
Deep Work.
The Rosie Project.
Thinking Fast and Slow.
The Silk Roads.
India after Gandhi.
A short history of nearly everything.
Surely You are joking Mr. Feynmen
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
If it is to be one single thing, then it by far is becoming fitter.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can help with English language skills, basic web development, economics, good writing style, making a reading list and cooking an Indian meal. Also, I am always up for political and economic debates.
I am open to learning any new language, skill and I will appreciate it if you share your reading list with me.
It would be great if you are a person of science and can explain to me a concept or two.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Mentioned above. Also Indian food recipes. And not to mention stories of Indian politics, economy, society, etc.
