CURRENT MISSION Graduating! ;) ABOUT ME I'm energetic, open minded and very very curious. I love to laugh and appreciate a good sence of humor. Bring on the crazy conversations and I'll have fun. ;) As all of you will agree with me, travelling is one of the best things in life, meeting people, learning about different cultures, discovering new places, new smells, new foods... I'll never get enough of it and can't wait to travel again. I'm a person who's very last minute with everything. I'm not good at planning things ahead, which is fine by me, it keeps life exciting and full of surprises. :) Call it chaotic or impulsive, I just love last minute crazy ideas. I care about people a lot, which is why I worked in homecare before I started studying at art school. To achieve a smile on a (sad) persons face is one of the best things there is. I'm able to enjoy the small things in life and I'm very happy for that. I can get crazy enthusiastic about the tiniest little things. And I love it! :) I'm a dreamer and have an endless fantasy, Which I really enjoy. :D There's so much more to tell, but I guess the only way to really get to know about a person is to meet the person in real. Oh, and guys, may I kindly remind you that this is not a dating site. ;) PHILOSOPHY I guess this is where I have to go deep and write down the most beautiful words and sayings. ;) I won't, I'll keep it very simple. Because my philosophy is very simple. I'm trying to live my life the way I think is right. I'm not perfect, but I try my best to treat everyone and everything with respect. I try to love and care about the things and people around me. Give a little, get a little. Be open minded, helpful, honest, friendly and most important: don't forget to laugh. :) Enjoy life, don't make it too difficult for yourself and stop thinking that everyday has to be perfect and wonderfull. That's just not life and it doesn't have to be, you need shit days to enjoy the good ones even more!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I knew the CS project for a while already, but hadn't made a profile until november 2007. I wasn't sure whether to offer a couch or not, but I thought I should give it a go. And that was the right decision! :) It's a beautiful way of getting to know new people and places. And it would be great if I'm able to make someones stay worth while by offering a place to sleep. I love to share.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love watching movies, and I love to go to the cinema. I like all sorts of movies, the ones that make me think, the ones that make me laugh and the ones that make me cry...

Love many different kinds of music, I used to go to techno parties a lot when going out, but at home I usually listen to other kinds of music. I have a very wide taste in music, from oldies to techno, from classical to reggae, from jazz to trip-hop and everything in between. I won't start typing names, because I don't want to make the list endless. ;)

I should read more books. I enjoy reading good books, the problem is finding them, there is so much choice, I don't know where to start!
Another problem is finishing them. I start reading in it for a little while, eventually get distracted with other "projects" and put it aside. Then I forget about the book completely, until the moment I find it again. At that moment I always have to start from the beginning again. ;D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I bungee jumped when I was only 12 years old.

There have been many amazing moments during my travels in Asia for example, but they're too long to write down here, so I will tell you all about them if we ever meet. :)

I've had beautiful moments at Burning Man.

During my work in homecare (working for old and/or sick people at their homes) I've shared some very special moments with some of my clients.

I've followed my heart in situations where others might think things through a little more. Never regretted any of these adventures, which sometimes involved love. ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm curious and love to learn and listen, so feel free to teach me all kinds of things. And who knows maybe there's also something I could teach you. I believe everyone has something to teach, no matter how big or small.
