I wasn’t feeling particularly confident about my health, but a group of French travelers I’d just met insisted I join them — and their enthusiasm was impossible to resist. The best part? I only had my running shoes, which meant I finished the trek with dead toenails, a constellation of blisters, and zero regrets. Honestly, the chaos made it even more unforgettable.
