About Me

A melancholic bloke at heart and in real life. I'm an International Relations student and I'm here to talk to you about everything. I have a philosophy for anything. Yeah, I may be weird but my points are sometimes effective to most people.

Film, books, and music are my whole life, I could not survive without them, so by that statement, I am fully agreeing to this Bjork's quote, "There are certain emotions in your body that not even your best friend can sympathize with, but you will find the right film or the right book, and it will understand you.”

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In this year and century, you are constantly pressurized to be socially intelligent and be aware of today's news and issues. So, here I am, studying and welcoming myself in a world full of opportunity. And yeah, I do plan to travel someday, I don't know when, and I'd like to know some people there personally.

Interests

As being said in the About Me; films, music, books.

Ingmar Bergman, Xavier Dolan, Jane Campion, Nicole Holofcener, Todd Field, Alejandro Innarritu being my favorite directors.

Bjork, Mariah Carey, FKA twigs, Suede, 90s hip-hop and R&B, strange electronic music, and soul, mostly.

Books by Sylvia Plath, Andre Dubus, Virginia Woolf, and David Sedaris, never have I ever to be very related to them.

Other than them; Issues such as human rights, gender and LGBTQIA at the top of my head. As well as the industries of music and film. Songwriting and music producing--yeah, I'd like to know that more... Literature, pop culture, basic philosophy, mass media industry, generational theory, internet culture, and comedy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time, I won a trophy at my university for the short film I made for the radio club that I'm in. It's cheesy, but it made me realized that at that point, cinema is going to be my whole life.
