About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To expand my knowledge of the world and cultures around me, while making new friends and experiencing new things

ABOUT ME

I like to think of myself as a fun, loving person who likes to experience new things. I like to do things out doors like riding my bike, hiking, camping, skiing, etc. but I also like just hanging out and reading a book or watching a movie when I've got someone to watch it with. When I'm not working, I sometimes go volunteer at the local aquarium as a touchpooler (teach people about invertebrates and let them touch 'em). It's very rewarding, mostly because its the closest I can get to the ocean on a somewhat regular basis in New Mexico...lol. I'm hoping to someday be able to move near the ocean and work towards my goal of being a Marine Biologist, but for now, traveling and the aquarium will have to do.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is a journey...need I say more?

Music, Movies, and Books

I mostly enjoy watching and reading anything suspenseful that keeps me on the edge of my seat. I also enjoy comical or heartfelt stories that aren't too cheesy. I listen to a wide variety of music that doesn't usually include country. I'm pretty open to anything though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would have to say that my few days on Wee Wee Caye in Belize was definitely amazing. We spent several days snorkeling around the different cayes in the area and got to see so many amazing things, like baby Cuttlefish!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would really like to learn to speak German better, and learn how to knit. I'm not quite sure what special skills I have that I could teach people, but I'll update as I discover that.
