ABOUT ME

I'm a very laid back person, and get along with pretty much anyone.

PHILOSOPHY

Be happy. I'm convinced that this is the meaning of life. If you need to ask how:

1) Make good friends
2) Be at least a little selfish

兴趣

I'm a music fiend. I love listening to music, and do so pretty much every waking moment. I like concerts (band or genre doesn't really matter, it's fun either way), but don't go to nearly enough!

I enjoy going out with my friends pretty much at every opportunity, either for an all out party or just a take it easy kind of night.

I work two jobs, one as an intern at a software company, and one as a bartender in a college town. So that takes up a lot of time.

My movie seletion is pretty varied: American History X, Fight Club, Donnie Darko, High Fidelity, V for Vendetta, The Departed, and pretty much anything Guy Ritchie or Christopher Nolan has had anything to do with whatsoever.

I also enjoy historical documentaries, and pretty much every PBS Nova/Frontline special. Especially those relating to science.

Oh and I hate, hate, hate 99% of anything involving Will Ferrell. Sorry. He plays the same character in every movie but with a different profession, how am I the only one that notices this? (Exception: Stranger than Fiction).

I'm mad about music! AC DC, All That Remains, As I Lay Dying, Atreyu, Avenged Sevenfold, Children of Bodom, Diecast, Kanye West, Killswitch Engage, Porcelain, Rage Against the Machine, Trivium, underOATH.

In a few words? Classic Rock and Metalcore.

For books, lots of history, historical fiction, and then a good amount of fantasy. Think Jim Butcher and George R.R. Martin.

Be brutally honest. I arrive at this epiphany once a year and slowly drift away and forget about it. Lies might make people feel better for the moment, but the truth is more valuable.
