About Me

Brazilian entrepreneur turned corporate executive turned minimalist wanderluster.
Exploring the world on a sabbatical year (or years), searching for meaningful connections through food and nature exploring.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The biggest goal of this trip is to connect - with people, with nature, with food, with myself - hence is mandatory to be available to live in serendipity. Couchsurfing is more or less like the hot pot of serendipity, and that's why I want to focus most of my days on this trip connecting with real people, getting to know their cultures and countries through their perspective.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite books: Einstein dreams by Alan Lightman; 100 years of loneliness by Gabriel Garcia Marquez; Manuelzão e Miguilim by Guimarães Rosa; The Hitchhikers Guide to the galaxy by Douglas Adams

My favorite movies: The Matrix; Star Wars IV-VI; Jurassic Park; Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain; Mars; Dr. Strangelove; 2001 space odyssey; Spartacus (the original one);

My favorite albuns: Dark side of the moon - Pink Floyd; Revolver - Beatles; Scenes from a memory - Dream Theater; We Like It Here - Snarky Puppy

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know if it is amazing in others perspective, but for me to move away from a interesting career as entrepreneur to find my true purpose has being (and still is) the most amazing and complicated path that I've trekked through, the lengthy way between heart and mind.

Teach, Learn, Share

My biggest goal on this trip is to connect to the local culture through food and sport. In some of the countries that I've visited or will visit I already feel connected in a very meaningful way through my DNA, spread out through Europe, Africa and Americas (thanks 23andMe).

Would be great to share some of the interesting things about Brazil and the region that I'm from, as well from my previous trips. Mostly I would love to cook you something and, if you allow me, co-pilot the kitchen to learn about your favorite local dishes while we exchange music :)

Being in the bush is second nature to me, so if you like to put your boots and get into the wild hiking, biking, four wheeling... I'm your buddy!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook for you some tasty Brazilian dishes (and other stuff as well) or I can be a great hiking company as well.

If you are away once I happens to be at your place I would be delighted to care for pets and plants.

If you are starting a company or has started one recently I can always share some entrepreneurial or corporate experiences that I had and help you with some strategy and brainstorming.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Bolivia, Canada, China, Colombia, Czech Republic, England, Germany, Netherlands, Panama, Peru, Rwanda, South Africa, United States
