ABOUT ME

I'm a very laid back person. The only thing I like about planning a trip is the opportunity to screw up those plans and go where the wind blows.
I enjoy surfing, although I am terrible at it. I did quite a bit of filming while I was in Darwin, and I am hoping that I can continue while I travel the globe.
I play the guitar, and just before I left I started playing on stage at the local pub with another traveler singing, I am definitely keen to do that again on my travels.
I enjoy meeting new people and hearing about others adventures, as well and beginning new adventures with soon to be life long friends.

PHILOSOPHY

I think when you're travelling you are at your most creative. By experiencing new things you continually change your outlook on life.... for the better.
If your not traveling, hosting people can help bridge that gap before you next trip.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted people in Darwin where i could, and try to provide as much information for things to do when people arrive.
I hope to participate further by crashing your couches as I head around the world ;) showing that having a surfer in your home can enrich you lives.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed friends couches around australia, and often find that the couch is usually the most comfy bed in all the house.

I have had nothing but great experiences with the people that have surfed my couches, and I am looking forward to doing the same for the couches I crash on.

Interests

I enjoy heading to the pub for a few relaxing ales with friends, playing the guitar, practising Yoga, surfing, and filming.

The key to this is relaxing, there is always time to relax.

Music, Movies, and Books

Laid back surf tunes like Frankenreiter, jack johnson, xavier rudd, G love.

worst movie is unbreakable (don't get me started), but I like things like momento and the skelton key.

Books? Recently did Gaudi's biography which was awesome.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Filmed the biggest ever waves in Ireland and scored a trip to the States for the Billabong XXL Big Wave Surfing awards.

Teach, Learn, Share

The break at Cenigans has clean up sets that come in every 20-30 minutes. If you're a beginner (me included), stay deep and wide or it's going to be a long paddle back.
