ABOUT ME

I tend to excitedly wave my hands, cook almost only by improvisation, and really spend too much time accumulating hobbies rather than mastering the skills I already have. Outside of that, I also work as a web editor for a magazine, practice yoga, make minimalist websites and write what are usually at least somewhat-comedic essays.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Simple experiences always seem really full—like attending a traditional dutch wedding, and having to rely on a stranger to whisper to me what was being said, or the opportunity to help out on an organic teaching farm.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm a sucker for a good mix of generosity and ridiculousness. Sitting in the back of an Orthodox wedding entirely in Dutch in Leiden while a friend of a host in black t-shirt for a hardcore band I can't remember occasionally whispers what's going on definitely rates high for me as both.
