About Me
Hola, you lovely folks! :)
Me, Italian (despite missing the Italian looks since I'm a mountain girl from the North), in her early twenties, always hungry for more is on her own little mission to conquer the world. Don't freak out now, I know I spoke of 'le moil' in the 3rd person but it's my favourite narrative haha
Back to more serious topics now, with 19 I decided to leave the comfort of my mountains and head to England to improve my English. I settled down at the coast sides of a beautiful sea side town named Brighton. This quite frankly shaped who I am today. It's a magical little place where everyone finds his or her own little happy hippie.
Now though it's time for the next step, I'll be heading to Berlin to go study philosophy so I'll be in search of new amazing people to befriend and have fun with.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like the idea of couch surfing because meeting a complete stranger who is kind enough to host one makes me feel we still live in a world where we care about each other. As harsh as our world sometimes seems to be, optimistic, good people have not been extinct yet and that is a very comforting thought.
Secondly, it's just so much nicer to discover new places with someone who knows where to go (albeit I will still be able to get lost!)
Thirdly, as bad as it sounds but apart from going on lovely long strolls couch 'surfing' might be the only sport I'm kinda good at too. please don't judge me...
Interests
I'm interested in people more than all, in what they say, what they do, how they think they make a difference to the world. That's why I read book, watch films, try to keep up with the politics they make, discuss the weird with strangers and dance in the rain with them. I like getting inspired, whether it's Frida Kahlo or Bernie Sanders.
I have my coffee black with sugar and my favourite Gin comes with an olive. Sadly I don't find enough time to draw and yoga as much as I'd like to do, I'm too easily distracted by my most favourite thing, music!
As long as you tell me a story I will listen, and once we run out of words I am also pleased to enjoy the silence.

Music, Movies, and Books
MGMT (cause they've shaped my teenage years), Devendra Banhart, Mac Demarco (my absolute favie!!), Stornoway, Jack Johnson, The Kooks, Courtney Barnett (oh, I love her lyrics), Hinds, The Parrots, Time for T...
My favourite films used to be horrror films, I like how captivating they are. That's changed a bit, I think Woody Allen one's are great, Wes Anderson is also fantastic and not to forget Tarantino. 'Requiem for a dream' had quite a big effect on me, but there's so many, I genuinely could go on forever...
Currently I am watching 'Friends' right from the start and I am loving it so much!
My favourite book is one by Marcus Aurelius, I also loved 'City of Thieves' by David Benioff, 'Essays in love' by De Botton, 'The Vegetarian' by Han Kang.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My Linda McCartney vegan lasagne is top notch banging!
Teach, Learn, Share
I like maths.
And irony.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a good listener and super interested in what people have to say. I like to tell stories and to go on fun adventures, whether this may be a walk into the greenery or a little pub crawl. From time to time I might seem to socially overdose myself, but's just the way I am. And hence knowing I was really shy as a child I prefer myself quite like that.
