About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to settle back into Canada

ABOUT ME

I moved to England from Canada in February to start a new job, and to travel all over Europe and loved it!! After 3 years I went to Asia for 3 months where I volunteered in Nepal and then did some touring in Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. Moved back to Canada and a month ago my partner and I relocated to Toronto. We are now settling into the city and looking forward to our new adventure.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that all people deserve second chances, and that life is too short for complaining. I am willing to try anything once, and think that you never know your true character until you step out of your comfort zone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I began by listening to my friends couch surfing stories and am happy to say that I fully participate now. Sadly I have not been able to host anyone back in Canada, but have had great experiences in Reading, Portugal, and all over England! Now I am hoping to settle back into the Canadian scene and see what Toronto has to offer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been to many different group events, surfed in Portugal and met with many different people along the way. I have also made some of my lifelong friends through couchsurfing!

Interests

I love to do anything outdoors, hiking, snowboarding, and anything that involves water. I love going to live shows, whether it be comedy or music. I can also spend hours just walking around a city and laughing with my friends. There is nothing better than good company.

Music, Movies, and Books

Supertroopers, A Time to Kill, Crash

Three Cups of Tea, The Book of Negroes, The Lovely Bones, Water for Elephants

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My favourite thing I have ever done is hike to the top of one of the Rocky Mountains in the winter. It was absolutely gorgeous and you could see for miles. Everything was covered in snow, and then when we were done admiring the landscape we got to snowboard down in fresh powder.
