Hi everybody, I'm Birte and I am studying Horticulture at the university in Osnabrueck, Germany.

Long time ago I 've become vegan because I watched a lot of videos which deeply moved my heart. Today I'm feeling fine eating nearly every vegetable and fruit ;-). So even if you're not vegan but like to cook, I'm sure we create a great dinner together ;-).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it's a good idea too share some time with nice people and when you can stay at their home while exploring new cities and areas it's even greater.

Interests

As you might guess when looking at my degree programme, I am interested in plants and everything around them, especially growing organic food. ;-)

I also like being in nature, walking with friends, doing exercise outside.

At home I often do sports such as bodyworkout in a gym nearby.

I like doing a lot of stuff with friends: partying, reading stories to a friend, cooking, and what else come's around.

Music, Movies, and Books

At home I've got al lot of novels such as the complete novels of Jane Austen or novels from Elizabeth Gilbert.
Once I 've read The Lord of the Rings which opened me the way to the world of Tolkien. I think he was a very brillant story teller.

As for music I hear a lot of different genres: sometimes classics, hip hop, rock, pop, sometimes electro,...

Honestly I've watched so many movies that I'm not sure about my favorites.
