I am a freelance journalist based in Nairobi since 2020. I love playing music - viola in the Nairobi Orchestra mostly, listen to people making music, listen to people telling their stories, debate about politics and how to make the world a better place. I also love cycling!

So many place I have not seen yet. And as my favourite kind of traveling is visiting friends, couchsurfing is quite a good way to get to many places without just being a tourist. I have hosted many people at my places in Berlin and now in Nairobi - friends of friends, strangers in need of a bed for some nights.

I quit my job so I could spend more time doing music and catching up with friends. Freelancing really works! So I have time for Nairobi Orchestra rehearsals and concerts, managing their social media, being on the board of the international press association east africa and cycling on Sunday morning to the greener sides of Nairobi.
