About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Handstand, trapeze.
ABOUT ME
Have a lot of kids, so have learned to be flexible and quick on my feet. I have sadly also acquired ADD and Noun-deficiency syndrome. I like wine, craft beers, and organic/free trade coffee. I am a good cook and most U.S. restaurants leave me disappointed. We make pizza most weekends. I'm a freegan-paleo-vegetarian-flexitarian. I like to go on walks, try desperately to dance, and like to think that I could paint and draw.
PHILOSOPHY
Make heaven on earth.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Check in when I can. My couches are sometimes available. Right now I have 2 long term guests in bedrooms, a short term guest in the guest room, and a 19yo couch surfer-turned-adopted-son. We rarely have lines at the bathrooms.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When I was 11, my father took me to Europe for 3 weeks. In Grenoble, we met a young man biking across Europe. My father invited him to come back to our apartment to have a shower, a hot meal and sleep on the couch that night. I don't even remember his name, but I have a photo with him. My father remembers his name.
Since then, I have invited people to surf on over to my parents' house or mine. We have hosted a family that records conventions and goes city to city. A family moving from SC to CA- with 6 children and a uHaul. People who were travelling the US to visit every state, in a 5th Wheel. Families moving from WA to GA and from GA to WA (a week apart from each other Haha). And a farmer and his wife who just wanted to come to the big city for a weekend off.
Personally I have couch surfed while traveling in D.C., PA, KY, CA, WA, OR.
Interests
I will stop to look at architecture, art. I like color and line. I do a little something every day to improve my surroundings or read to improve my mind and develop my thoughts. I also like to clean. I prefer to clean other's homes, strangely enough.

Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I have chickens and some urban gardening going on, maybe I know enough to help you start? I have also homeschooled for 20 years.
Learn: I would like to learn more about Tilapia raising. I could use a knitting refresher. I would like to learn to ball room dance.
Share: I'm an over-sharer, watch out. LOL
