Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live life to the full and be open to all the experiences the World has to offer.
ABOUT ME
I'm a friendly, outgoing guy with a real passion for learning about people. I love to spend time chatting, walking, surfing, and just learning more about the World in general.
PHILOSOPHY
I've only just realised that life is not all about being safe, sensible and planning for the future. Life is about collecting experiences, meeting people, making mistakes and learning along the way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been travelling through Africa, Asia and Australia for about 9 months now. I have couchsurfed before and loved the experience of meeting people and chatting to them about their lives. I'm seeking to CS through New-Zealand from 2nd June. When I return to work and settle somewhere I will definitely be having people to CS with me to repay the favour and I want to meet more people from different countries.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I met a great bunch of CS's in Sydney, and hung out with them and then I couch surfed on the East Coast of Australia and had an amazing time!!
Interests
Surfing, walking, music, business, people, places, seeing the World, rugby, football and other world sports. I really enjoy meeting new people and chatting to them because you can learn so much. I don't mind a social drink every now and then.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like all types of music from breakbeat to rap/hip-hop, easy listening and classical. I play a bit of guitar (just starting out) but I love to hear live music. I love discussing and sharing music with other people - there's nothing like finding (or sharing) an amazing song with someone...my itunes library has grown exponentially since I left the UK!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I climbed Kilimanjaro which was the toughest mental and physical challenge of my life...it was amazing to have done it and I raised money for a great cause. During my travels I've seen some beautiful sights and had some crazy times, I'd love to share them with you if we meet.
Teach, Learn, Share
I used to be a lawyer for a multi-national organisation so I have some knowledge in that field and that of business. I love to discuss the impact of business/capitalism on the World and it's impact on local culture. I did enjoy my work but I think in the future I'd like to start my own business and feel like I truly 'own' my work.
