Overview
About Me
I lived in Turkey a while, then Mexico, then Portland, OR, and now am in Kingston, NY. I dance a lot and like getting outdoors. I'm some kind of anachist/communist thing, here for the punks.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting people from across the world is awesome. I've hosted a few people over the years. Would like to host more.

Music, Movies, and Books
I was really into west african dance music for a few years but am now getting into Brazilian hip-hop and Zouk. I generally like weird indie/punky things, downtempo electronic music, and experimental music when its not unpleasant.
Favorite books include People of Paper by Salvador Plascencia, Bluets by Maggie Nelson, Hopscotch by Julio Cortezar, and Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Picked up my life, moved to Istanbul, and learned Kurdish.
