continue our journey with Venezuelan and Brazilian musical influences. we want to establish a dialogue with the musical cultures of other coutries.

ABOUT ME

We are BITACORA de VENUS! A musical duo that also presents with circus arts and theater.
[Bitacora] is a spanish word that means compass and simbolize our trip and [Venus] represents the goddess who lives in the women and planets. Spelling this we have [Bi] because we are two and [cora] because we do this with heart - [cora]ção in portuguese - and its sincere.
We do a fusion between different percussion instruments like pandeiro, a brazilian tambourine; cuatro venezolano; brazilian triangle; maracas; agogô; and others that will appear during the trip.
Our trip is sustained mainly with music and circus performances like juggling. We are working on a theater piece that incorporates different arts and cultures, with puppets and shadow theater.
Enjoy working in a team, because we feel more confidence, security and support to face the difficulties that may or not happen about the trip.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

one of the most beautiful things my eyes have ever beheld was the Perito Moreno glacier in Patagonia, Argentina. I recommend everyone to go there. can sleep on a summer night with your tent in front of the glacier.
