About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See the universe and all the other places too.

ABOUT ME

Always open to an interesting discussion, prepared to listen to other points of view for a bigger picture, non-judgemental. Easy going with new people I meet in life. Perhaps with a slightly scientific approach to doing things even when more creativity would've been more appropriate; but well aware of that and trying to fight it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My flatmate and I have been hosting practically non-stop since we arrived in Spain last Octobre. I feel like I could put CS in the list of "the most amazing things I've done" below, both surfing and hosting. LUCHIEN's profile will tell you more about our CS experience.

Cooking with our guests, having long conversations over a bottle of wine (or two; or something stronger), day trips to the nearby towns - all of that has been good fun!

Interests

Extremely keen on learning all about the cultures and countries that surround me, and even more so about the most distant and obscure places.

Music has always been an integral part of my life, and my figers start itching when I'm too far from my guitar for too long.

I also like reading, cooking and spending time with the surfers we host of course!

Music, Movies, and Books

While my music collection mosly consists of metal titles, I enjoy listening to other kinds of quality music. Jazz, blues and classical rock are all to my taste.

With the books, let's see, some of the books I liked a lot were "The Pillars of the Earth" (Follet), "Metro 2033" (Glukhovsky), "Crime and Punishment" (Dostoevsky), "Quo Vadis" (Sienkiewicz), "Three Comrades" (Remarque)...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trip to Surfers Paradise - the Australian Mecca for surfers. Motorbike rides - fast straight runs and tight speedy turns.

Countries I’ve Visited

Andorra, Bulgaria, China, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, India, Japan, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
