About Me

Hi to everyone!

My name is Nerea and I have 25 years old. I'm from Valencia and currently living in Dublin, but I was living in Scotland for two years too. I am passionate about life. I love write and read, above all. I feel alive surrounded by nature or travelling to another countries.
I'm quiet and cheerful, I always try to see the positive side of everything or, at least, not anchoring myself in the negative things and look for alternative solutions, empathic as well, and I have a lot of motivation to keep moving forward.
I consider myself very resilient and independent, a hardworker for my goals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have a goal: live intensly every day of my life.

When I had 23 years I was thinking about the sense of my life and I realized that I had a lot of anxiety because I was living a life I didn't want to live. So, a short time later, I bought my first plane ticket to Edinburgh. I hadn't money, house, work or friends in Scotland, I only wanted to be there.

Everything was fine. I lived in Edinburgh 22 months and 3 months in the Highlands (Inverness). My life is very valuable and I work for my happiness.

Was time to have a change, so my next objective was live in Dublin, where I'm living for ten months.

Music, Movies, and Books

Since I was a child I see my father reading books and thanks him I love read. When I had seven years, he gave me a book: Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. So, until now, this saga still having a great emotional significance for me.
Stephen King is the best writer ever.
May seem cheesy, but my favorite movie is Titanic, and not because the love story, but because of the emotional burden of the historical and real part of the tragedy. I don't cry with the love between Rose and Jack, rather for put myself in the shoes of all the people who died in that shipwreck.
And finally, I like all kind of music, but above all styles: salsa and bachata, because I like dance so much.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I changed my life almost three years ago, after a tragedy, travelling to Edinburgh alone.
Thanks to all my decisions I'm a new person, I have grown a lot pshycologically and I know the life what I want to live.
I met a lot of people that make me feel very good. I always gonna remember them and each place I visited in these years.

Teach, Learn, Share
