ABOUT ME

I am a 25 year old sculptor,woodworker, and creator. I'm currently pursuing a Masters of Fine Arts degree in woodworking and furniture design at the University of Wisconsin Madison. I previously worked as a woodturner for a custom stair and design company. I am endlessly intrigued by beautifully crafted objects - simple yet elegant is my visual mantra. I play the banjo and listen to bluegrass music. More often than not I have a book in hand. I constantly carry a notepad in my pocket to record the images, quotes, and memories that create my life. I climb mountains when I can, and binge on fly fishing in the summer months. I'm drawn to moving water and fascinated by trees. The best evenings of my life include the good company of a few close friends, shared meals, and soulful conversation.

Couchsurfing encourages fruitful mutually beneficial relationships to develop, and I'm proud to participate in such a positive community. I surf couches, meet up with surfers, and am generally keeping my eyes open for engaging opportunities.
