About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Hum, I would say : "save the world from evil" but that wouldn't be nice to Bruc Willis or Tom Cruise, that's their job. I don't want to encourage unemployment.

ABOUT ME

Hard to tell everything about me... But I could say
that, I am a very open-minded person and that I'm always looking for new stuff to learn. It could be about cultures, people; or about art, litterature, sometimes science...anything!

I enjoy having a nice chat in a cafe as I'm able to dance all night long on electronic music. I enjoy the urban life, but I can also go hiking in the mud without being to traumatised. Best landscapes are not the most accessible, I think..

Two words about my hobbys...the regular stuff : going out with friends, going to the movies...Reading, dancing, eating new food, listening to music, go to concerts. Recently I started to jogg: healthy and a good way to meditate...

PHILOSOPHY

I am generaly positive, and I need a lot to start to be worried. You could call that stupidity , I would say that I am confident!

Enjoy your life at the fullest. Not believing in after-life, I'll say that there is nothing else you can do with it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I discovered the Cs concept trough a friend of mine who is really involved in it. First I thought that it was a hippie way of traveling for free and so, I didn't have the reflex to sign up to check out what it was really about.
It is only after my first trip alone that I saw the real meaning of this organisation. Going by yourself in an "into-the-wild" style is really great, if you want to write a book and eventually die. My thing is more about sharing. So, from now on, CS will be a good shoulder to rely on!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new, so my experience is not vast. But I can say that, so far CS treated me well and that the people I met thanks to it are amazing and made/make my foreign experiences more interesting!

Interests

Trees, ducks, geology, history, magic, UFO, shoes, purses, benches, chai tea, foreigh languages, cats, dance, politics, sunbathing, music, art (museums drive me crazy), old buildings, beer, beer, wales, fairytales, photo, treasure maps, spoke's ears, different kind of toilets, bakery, bread, theatre, boys, pronuciation issues, puns, stupid series and polar bears...

So, pretty much everything, exept maths and physics.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I love Clint Eastwood (Clint is Good). I feel deep and strong feelings for the "Lord of the Rings" saga ( my geek side's speaking). And a lot of other stuff, a lot.I'm interested in independent cinema of all kind as in some big and outrageous american productions (as few as I can).
I am fond of any kind of movie, exept Horror, Gore and porn. If a can sum it up like that.

Music: Janis Joplin, Beatles, Jimi the Great, Doors, Clash, Depeche Mode (80's), Pink Floyd, the Who, Led Zep, the SMiths...
Newer stuff: Animal Collective, Passion Pit, Yeasayer, Bon Iver, Ratatat, Simian Mobile Disco, Temper Trap, Vampire Weekend, the Knife, Florence and the Machine, Franz Ferdinand, Caribou, Black lips, Sigur Ros... And I am always happy to discover new bands, so don't hesitate to make some suggestions!

Books: "The Road" (Cormac McCarthy), "La Casa de los Espiritus" (Isabel Allende), "Saga" (Tonino Benaquista), "Huis Clos" (Sartre), "Le malaise dans la Culture/Civilisation" (Freud) and some more french stuff!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiking around Conemara lakes. There is no word to describe it. Amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

That's a tough one.

Teach: I speak several languages, so maybe some new words? Or...I can prove you that the conspiracy theories are wrong and that Jesus owned his own clothes.

Learn: How to cook! Ooh my my! I am a bad cook. I will certainely not set your kitchen on fire, but maybe your mouth or your stomach. To speak seriously, I make a really tasty Carbonarra Pasta, but that's it.

Share: Jokes, Witz, Blagues. Or a nice tea/beer. Passionate conversation about subversive subjects: Where do the fishes go when the lakes are frozen?

Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain
