Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be queen of the world :) Or learn Hungarian, whichever comes first.
ABOUT ME
Not much to say. I was born in Canada and spent many of my childhood/teenage years in Africa where my parents worked. I love languages and discovering different cultures. I am a very easygoing person who likes to have a good time but is too responsible sometimes.
PHILOSOPHY
Wherever you go, that's where you are.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Surf and host although I haven't actually hosted as of yet
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
First two couchsurfing experiences were in Hungary a couple of years ago and they helped make my trip. It was great to be able to meet new people and get to spend time learning more about their country and culture from their point of view. Also surfed a little in the States which I enjoyed immensely. I have always been impressed by the people I've met through couchsurfing, both by their open mindedness and their generosity.
Interests
I am interested in many things. I already said languages and cultures...I love to travel whenever I can. I also like cooking, baking, reading, singing (in the shower, in the car, and the occasional karaoke bar). I like to exercise (walking, hiking, running, workout DVDs, swimming, a little yoga, etc.). I like watching movies, listening to music and crochet. I like to dance although I can't say that I'm very skilled at it :) I have been told that I have a good sense of humour and I like to laugh.

Music, Movies, and Books
It would be shorter to list music, books and movies that I am not interested in.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Awestruck... Let's see, a breathtakingly gorgeous sunset over the Atlantic this summer at the "end of the world" in the Gaspe Peninsula. Anything big and open and cliffy always amazes me. I'm also a sucker for waterfalls, so I've been awestruck by several of them.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: Crochet, English, French, shoe tying, maybe cooking... I don't know.
Learn: Cooking local foods, speaking the local language, playing the guitar
