Overview
About Me
I'm curious to understand people and cultures and understand how people around the world have formed their lives in relation to the nature and climate that surrounds them, their current and past society (social structures; tribe society to big nations), their history, their believes, their religion, their pain and suffering, their happiness and dreams, their art, their music etc.
I appreciate couchsurfing because of the opportunity it gives to meet people in the countries where I’m traveling. I'm not very experienced with couchsurfing but on my travels I have stayed with countless people who I’ve met - but not through Couchsurfing.
So in some way then I think I can call myself an experienced "couchsurfer”. But I have become that in my own way :)
I’m not very experienced with hosting surfers, but I’m really looking forward to that day where I settle somewhere and have gotten myself a nice place where it will be possible for me to have travellers and volunteers staying with me. I want to settle in the countryside somewhere one day when I'm done with vagabonding and have my own land strive towards being self-sufficient by growing my own food and rearing own animals and hopefully built my own house. I love working with plants, animals and wood. But I'm very open and interesting in learning new crafts and arts.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet people in the countries where I’m traveling and to make new friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
Classical Indian music, Kora and other genres of west african music. I appreciate traditional folk music / world music. I appreciate native american music from north to south.- both the original music but indeed also the new electronic music (healing, calming, peace giving)
I appreciate deep chillout electronic music - especially when it is with world music and preferably long sets of more than one hour.
I appreciate techno and psytrance.
I appreciate Bob Dylan, Queen, Dire Straits, Nirvana.
- and much much much more and all the evergreens.
To have music in my life is important.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm passionate about juggling these days and I’m juggling almost every day. I could teach you how to juggle.
I think I am good at cooking, so maybe I could cook some food that we both would appreciate.
I enjoy to discuss philosophy, sociology, psychology, religion and spirituality.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Well, I am who I am. Maybe we can learn something from each other. Maybe I can inspire you in some way or another or teach you something. Maybe I can’t. We can't really know before we have met! :-)
