About Me

I could describe myself with x amount of attributes, but that still wouldn't capture my rockin' personality. At least that's what I say on the internet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Is it a must to fill this in with the most boring, generic response ever - "I want to meet interesting people, learn about other cultures, practice languages and have new experiences"?

Let's try this one - I want to brag about traveling the world so people think I'm cool.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - rock/opera/classical/evergreen/jazz/blues... anything goes. Definite favorites are The Rolling Stones (Mick Jagger is God. Deal with it), The Doors, Muse. My guilty pleasures that I'm ashamed to admit in public are Lana Del Rey and My Chemical Romance (yes, seriously).

Movies - you know of those moments when someone asks you about your favorite whatever and you can't name ANYTHING to save your life? And then later you remember like a ton of them at some completely random moment? That's me now. Nope, can't remember a time when I watched a good movie. On the other hand, I do watch like 256 TV shows.

Books - Erich Maria Remarque. Love him. Personal recommendation - The Night in Lisbon. Also, basically all of pop-sci.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once woke up before noon. It was WILD.

...Also, that was a lie.

Hm... let's see... survived life in the Balkans for 21 years. I feel like I should be awarded a medal or something.

Teach, Learn, Share

Can teach you a wide variety of pointless stuff - how to swear in 8 Slavic languages, how to program a computer, solve differential equations or, being an ex gymnast, how to do a backflip or stand on your head.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories from my homeland down under - the dreaded Mordor... sorry, I meant to say the Balkans. For some reason people find that interesting.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Iran, Italy, Montenegro, Netherlands, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia

Countries I’ve Lived In

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Germany
