ABOUT ME

I'm an English guy in my 30s from the beautiful Isle of Wight. I fell in love with travelling very early and began living abroad after some tantalizing solo vacations in Mainland Europe and the US. I hung around in Italy, Greece, Spain, then explored some of SE Asia and lived in Malaysia for a couple of years. Now I'm living and teaching English in Zaragoza, Spain. it's an incredibly colourful and historic part of the world, and Spain has the most amazing food, climate, language and people! In person I'm friendly, positive, relaxed and interested in just about everyone. I love to laugh and hear stories!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted all the time in Malaysia (25 surfers in my first 6 months) and enjoyed organising parties and nights out in town. I haven't yet surfed anyone else's couch but I look forward to it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The CS community in Penang was a good size and very close to each other. We loved meeting up and hanging out, bringing surfers along to visit. I found them so welcoming, and I'm not sure I'd have had much of a social life if it wasn't for CS! I work very hard in Spain and haven't had time to participate this year but things have to change! I loved to host and can't wait to surf.
